Blog for the day:

Woop woop, a tailwind, best feeling in the world especially after all the hard work I've been putting in the past few days. Flat stage to La Grande-Motte. I left Arles and wanted to see a Van Gough painting location, nothing is easy lol. So the road was being dug up, so had to find another route across country. Amazing to see, tick!

Flat roads sometimes into the headwind, sometimes at 45 degree crosswinds then the tailwind. High speeds overtaking everything moving (on two wheels without an engine) lol. Got to see flamingos, the white horses, pink waters and piles of salt; even enough for Rick stein! Stoped off at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer to find a snack, very touristy. Found some pizza. The ferry which was meant to get me across the river was of course, shut! Looked like he had a new boat and was trying to figure out how to use it. The camargue was good to see, very different.

Next was Aigues-Mortes, tick. Always wanted to see this since I saw it on the TdF one year. It lived up to expectations, the inside part was again, a tourist trap and expensive. Nice little fishing town was next, where we've booked to have dinner. Overall a good day with nice things seen.
