What a night and then what a crazy morning. Thunderstorm with heavy rain all night and morning. Tent got flooded and the water got close to the electric socket. The campsite was good, had nice flowing river which a few people jumped into, heroically.
This morning was a nightmare. As soon as I made some cereal, the heavens opened and it all went tits up. Everything is wet. We were planning ro cycles into Troyes, but with the cobbles and wet conditions, we thought it best not to. Already a short day, it was even shorter. We were lucky that we missed more rain
The route was good, nice rolling hills and countryside. Found some good pastries too. Nice pizza at campsite too. Tents up and drying, before it rains again.
Ubald from the TransAm has joined us today, so it is great to see him and catch up over some beers.
