Ah another day off. Perfect. After some of the best roads into Volvic yesterday and fast downhill's into royat, we deserved our last day off before we finish in a weeks time. Some of the scenery was right out of Oregon. Did the laundry right off so that it took time to dry over the weekend.

So the day was spent relaxing in the great spa. We went early in the day so it was nice and quiet. Although we could not get a massage, we used all the other facilities several times over.

Next job was sorting out my bike wheels. Thank god for translators on my phone and a great receptionist who rang the shop. So I took it down to the shop as the gears were grinding a bit and the mavic wheel was sounding dangerous. Short story is that the bearings had gone in the wheel and it would cost too much to mend. Luckily I brought my spare ones. Rest of the afternoon was spent looking around the old town of clermont Ferrard.

Quick meal and then bed. Another day off gone in a flash.
